Specializing in reverse mortgages since 1999, I have used my expertise, knowledge, and experience to help hundreds of seniors maintain their security, independence, dignity and control.
I have authored books including “Understanding Reverse Mortgages” written to help educate and simplify information on reverse mortgages.
Known as an expert in the field, I have been consulted for and quoted in numerous articles including the Good Age, Start Tribune, Pioneer Press, Finance & Commerce, The Reverse Mortgage Report and The Reverse Mortgage Daily. In addition, my articles have been published in the Metro Lutheran. Additionally I have been a guest on various radio shows in the Twin Cities metro area.
As a speaker I educate seniors, their families as well as professionals on reverse mortgages.
During the 2009 MN legislative session as a reverse mortgage expert and senior advocate, I testified in front of the Minnesota legislators and worked with the Attorney General’s office, legislators, and the MN Governor to protect seniors yet not restrict the reverse mortgage options in Minnesota.
To provided resources to the community I co-host, co-direct, and co-produce a Twin Cities metro cable TV show, “Savvy Seniors…Talking With Experts About Senior Resources.” In conjunction with the show I publish a resource guide, “The Savvy Senior Sources Guide.”
And maybe most importantly, I love what I do and the service I provide to seniors and their families because of the benefits they receive from reverse mortgages and resources they learn about.
